Correction on the Israeli-Gaza Conflict

A quick correction is in order. On Saturday, during an agonizing portion of nicotine withdrawal (that's my excuse, what's yours?), I linked to a LiveLeak video of dead Palestinian children that was reportedly the result of an Israeli airstrike on Gaza 1 Jan 2009. It turns out that this was 2005 footage of a Hamas parade where they accidentally blew themselves up or something. Volokh Conspiracy has the details (h/t Eric for the link) . Whoever thought that something on the internet could be wrong!?! What a shit world.

I respect you toooooooooo much to suggest that, perhaps, you should take a drag.

Hey, my dad always said the first mistake never counts.

It may be a shit world, but your blog rises above it by meticulously maintaining credibility. Kudos!

Elizabeth,

Thanks for the compliment, but I hardly consider credibility an important element with this blog, haha.

Well, truth be known...the credibility kudos were a thinly veiled but lame attempt on my part to nudge you toward some semblance of personal guilt over your incredible...ahem...Joe "The Terrible" rant. hahaha

Speaking of which, I hope you noticed my rare demonstration of self-restraint in avoiding comment...thus far. I'd say I deserve some sort of online equivalent to a pat on the back...or something.

Of course Elizabeth, you're the coolest Canadian hanging out in this cesspool ;)
